CCC seeks donations to help its ‘blanket Virginia’ effort

Commonwealth Catholic Charities is seeking donations of 500 new or gently used adult and baby blankets in the Richmond, Hampton Roads, Roanoke and Norton regions as part of its “Let’s Blanket Virginia” campaign in the regions it serves. The effort will run through Thanksgiving.

“Many people we help struggle to stay warm in the winter months,” said Joanne Nattrass, executive director of CCC. “We see this campaign as an opportunity to make sure that one of the basic needs of our clients, warmth, is addressed through the support of the community.”

Locally, blankets may be dropped off at the Commonwealth Catholic Charities office, 1512 Willow Lawn Drive, Henrico 23230.
